Terms and Conditions
These terms cover your use of the Admit website and waitlist. By using the site or joining the waitlist, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. What Admit is
Admit is a college application coaching tool for high school students that is still being built. Right now, this website describes the product, offers a short demo lesson and a few free tools, and lets you join a waitlist. Admit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Common App, the FAFSA or the U.S. Department of Education, or any college or university. Those names belong to their owners.
2. Who can use Admit
You must be 18 or older to accept these terms yourself. If you're a student under 18, a parent or guardian must sign up for you and accept these terms on your behalf, and they're responsible for how you use Admit. Admit isn't for children under 13. Any purchase must be made by someone 18 or older.
3. The waitlist
Joining the waitlist is free and doesn't create an account or commit you to buying anything. When you join, you confirm that you're 18 or older, or that you're a parent or guardian joining for a student under 18. We'll use the email address as described in our Privacy Policy. You can ask to be removed at any time through the contact page.
4. Plans and prices
The plans and prices on this site are planned, not final. They may change before launch. Nothing is for sale yet. Before any paid plan launches, we'll publish terms that cover payments, renewals, and cancellations, and you'll see them before you pay for anything.
5. No guarantees about admissions
Admit is a study and planning tool. We can't promise that you'll be admitted to any college or receive any scholarship or financial aid. Admissions decisions are made by colleges, not by us.
6. Check important information yourself
We try to keep deadlines, requirements, and financial aid information accurate, but it can change and we can make mistakes. Always confirm deadlines and requirements on each college's official website and on the official Common App and FAFSA sites before you rely on them. You're responsible for submitting your applications correctly and on time. The tools on this site, like the word counter and the plan builder, are simple guides. Their counts and suggestions can differ from the Common App's, so check your work there too.
7. Your work stays your own
Admit is designed to coach you, not to write for you. Anything you submit to a college must be your own work. Don't use Admit to produce writing you present as your own if it isn't, and follow the honesty rules of the Common App, each college, and your school. You own everything you write.
8. The AI coach
This website doesn't use AI yet. When Admit's coach launches, it will be an AI system, not a person, and the app will say so. Like any AI, it can make mistakes, so check anything important. It isn't a replacement for a school counselor, a doctor, or any other professional. We'll update these terms before the coach goes live.
9. Using the site fairly
Please don't misuse the site. That includes trying to break or overload it, signing up other people without their permission, submitting false information (including about your age), or sending spam or harmful content through the contact form. We may remove sign-ups or block access that breaks these rules.
10. Our content
The Admit name, logo, design, and the text and lessons on this site belong to Admit. You're welcome to use the site and share links to it, but please don't copy large parts of it or present it as your own.
11. The site is provided as is
We work hard to keep the site useful and running, but we provide it as is, without warranties of any kind. It may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors. To the extent the law allows, Admit isn't liable for losses that come from using, or not being able to use, the site or the information on it.
12. Changes
We may update these terms as Admit grows. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after that, the new terms apply.
